Description
This heavyweight dog tag-style pendant is inscribed with the Irish word "Misneach," meaning courage, written in Ogham. It is a powerful blend of modern style and ancient symbolism. The minimalist design of a dog tag combined with the ancient Ogham script creates a unique piece that resonates deeply with personal strength. It serves as a bold reminder of the courage and resilience, rooted in Irish tradition. The stark, linear characters of Ogham lend a sense of connection to ancient Celtic wisdom, reinforcing the idea that bravery is something both enduring and universal. The pendant becomes a modern-day talisman, carried close to the heart, instilling the wearer with a sense of purpose and the strength to face challenges head-on with unwavering fortitude.
About the Design
Ogham is an ancient Irish alphabet dating back to the 4th century. It is the earliest form of writing in Ireland, it was mostly carved onto stone pillars to mark territories and land. Examples of Ogham stone pillar can still be found throughout Ireland.
Where is it made?
