Silver Newgrange Bracelet
This unique Sterling silver Newgrange bracelet is inspired by the artwork at Newgrange monument, The tomb was built with precise astronomical alignment to the sun, over 5000 years ago. The art is one of the most remarkable features of the Newgrange monument. Some of it is a spectacular combinations of spirals, lozenges, chevrons, triangles and arrangements of parallel lines and arcs.
There are many theories behind the meaning of the carvings; the most popular representing the cycles of the sun
The single spiral; believed to represent the sun.
The double spiral representing the sun’s journey over the course of the year.
The Triskele (triple spiral) is believed to represent the unity of the elements of earth; wind, fire and water.
This silver Newgrange bracelet is a real statement piece with each link of the bracelet measuring 30mm X 20mm, finished off with an extra heavy toggle and bar clasp.
