Saint Brigid’s Cross
St. Brigid was born 450 A.D. and was a patroness of Ireland . She founded the first monastery in County Kildare, Ireland. St. Brigid created the cross out of rushes and is believed to protect against evil, fire and hunger.
This sterling silver St. Brigid’s cross is handmade in my workshop in Dublin, Ireland. It bears the full Irish hallmark from the Irish Assay Office in Dublin castle and stamped Made in Ireland.
Beautifully presented in a jewellery box box made from recycled materials.
